Friendly, helpful service and good resturant

Small room, Bathroom very poor condition,

The food and service were excellent as was my bedroom.

the decor was classic, the food was excellent, the rooms were newly refurbished, the fgacilities were good.

honnestly i was very disappointed by the room . Bad decoration, old furniture Especially when you see such a different between the pictures on the internet sit eand the reality

And it was 10 euros to have a coffee in the room. I think that 10 euros for a pot of coffe is just not acceptable !

The price is really to high for such an hotel. It should have 2*, nothing more.

Staff very helpful, no problem in moving room to find independent shower, helped with directions to pubs for Cup Final, spacious rooms, very convenient for train station, trams and buses.

Price was a bit on the expensive side compared to other Hotels in the city - Valenciennes not exactly Paris in luxury terms.

Just in front of the station, and a quarter footing from the town centre. Very good stylish restaurant. Both nice crew.

Pleasant staff and very comfortable room. Excellent shower

Breakfast poor - did not have this on the second day. Particularly poor coffee. Restaurant not good - again used this only on the first day.

Excellent restaurant with superb food & affordable prices. Located very conveniently just opposite the Valenciennes Railway Station.

The room & bathroom were very cold with the heating totally ineffective. The housekeeping needs to greatly improve - there was hair & other remenants from the previous guest remaining on bedsheets offeed to me. The towels had a musty smell. The WIFI internet connection was extremely slow & ineffective. It could be a great hotel if these improve.

Noise when the next room is being cleaned at 8 am

The elevator stopped working. Fortunately we were checking out so only had to go down by stairs

Good quality hotel and very good location. Our room was clean comfortable and quiet. The hotel recepionist was excellent.

I had booked a superior room at additional cost, there was no heating in the bathroom the mirror in the bathroom was broken the shower did not work properly, the wireless internet was completely useless with speed so slow that I could not even log into the company server, the room in general was ok but certainly not superior. With value for money rather poor. I will not be staying at the Grand hotel again.

Location, near SNCF station.

Lots of new room are under decoration, so the smell of room was not tolerable!

Didn't stay long in the hotel but experience was as expected
